ROCS is a CAD CAM design service and art fabrication studio. With our CAD CAM we produce precision wax masters for jewelry. Through the partnership of an artist, customer, and contemporary computers we can explore: 3D business illustrations, personal icons, logos or commemorative jewelry items and works that contain text. We are equipped with the latest design programs, which allow the customer to see 3D images of the item before it goes into production. ROCS, also provides laser welding service. We do repair work on jewelry; repairs are evaluated on a case by case basis. We offer to the public wearable art and unique solutions to larger projects such as creating logos for business lobbies. Ancient and contemporary art methods are used in our studio. We are well versed in the fine art of metal carving, casting, fabrication, repoussé, and raising. All of which were used by the ancient silversmiths and goldsmiths. ROCS can illustrate in 3D "one off" designs; with our CAD CAM system we can make that design into a precision CNC cut wax for: patterns, models, single one-of-a-kind pieces, or production masters. Being a small production company, we facilitate short runs with quality; our production design is in house and in the USA.

Why Did You Start Your Company?
Our
affinity to shape nonferrous metal started the ROCS studio. Our inspirations are rooted in ancient metal working methods such as coin relief, chasing, repoussé and raising. The meld of ancient qualities and current technology offer our customer one of a kind or a production piece that is a unique creation in history.
What Separates You From Your Competition?
Unique to our customers, are experienced artisans versed in a number of metal methods carving, chasing, casting, and raising. We offer a variety of artistic solutions to incorporate the traditional metal methods as well as new metal fabrication techniques. Depending on the creative input you desire, ROCS can illustrate in 3D our design or your one of a kind jewelry design or produce a master pattern for a production piece. Our precision cut wax master patterns or models are cut by computer aided machines and are ready for casting. With our 3D CAD CAM system; we can create files for larger items such as, a logo in a foyer, or a dimensional object for commercial display.
What kind of art forms do you make?
Our challenge is shaping non-ferrous metal; there is no particular genre in our work. The goal is to produce an item that reflects what a person desires to have in their life or business. Whether it is wearable art or a company logo, each job is different from the next. In the case of jewelry design, our CAD CAM files are created on original bases and each piece of work results in a truly unique crafted art form that makes them unlike anything you would see at a traditional jewelry store.
