METALWORKS

Some of our metal works are shaped by use of various hammers and specialized hand tools.  The methods we use to hammer non-ferrous metal and precious metal are: raising, chasing and or repoussé.  The works are inspired by ancient metal methods to achieve strength and voluminous form with economy of material.  Cold hammered forms are innately intensive; the metal is annealed many times, numerous hammered courses are used.  Like a heart, the beat of our hammers strike the metal.  The forces are transmitted into the jewelry creating a one of a kind piece of art.  The pieces in this category are resilient in character, and have an inherent energy for the person wearing them.
